Battling performance from the Yr 10 Rubgy Team

Southam 12 – 51 Kenilworth

The Year 10 Rugby team put in a battling performance in their game against a strong Kenilworth team, but ultimately came undone as they ran in late tries to the the game away from us.

In a closely contested first half, a couple of loose passes and missed tackles were punished. Tries from Adam Mullen and James Phillips, and Tom Hill’s conversion kept us within touch. However, following an unfortunately injury to Ben Robinson following a brave attempt at a tackle and Max Washbrook having to retire with an injured Hamstring, we were not able to match the intensity of the physical Kenilworth team who ran in a flurry of tries late on in the game.

There were lots of promising performances and we are looking forward to our next game against Harris on Wed 17th October.
