Southam Cruise to a comfortable win over Kineton

The Yr 10 football team produced an impressive display over an under-strength Kineton team yesterday. With both teams down to 10 players, there was lots of space on the pitch, and we were able to exploit it as earlier as the first minute when Lennon C. broke through the Kineton defence to finish low into the bottom corner.

This set the tone for the game, and although Kineton did manage to mount a few attacks and force some saves from Callum V in goal, they were always comfortable. Southam were 4-0 up at the break with a further 2 from Lennon and a Corbin M. debut goal.

Southam took alittle longer to establish control in the 2nd half, failing to get the ball down on the deck under control, but once their passing game was back, the goals quickly followed. Joe W. added a brace of well taken goals and Lennon C. completed his rout with 6 individual goals.

We have another game next week against Campion away and need a ful complement of squad members for that one. Please could everyone sign up on the teamsheets.
