Y10 Food Preparation and Nutrition

Yesterday, Year 10 Food Preparation and Nutrition students undertook their final presentation challenge, involving eggs.

Their task was to cook one egg in the method of their choice (fried, scrambled, boiled..) and display it, with toast, salad, sauces etc. Pupils evaluated and judged the end results, with the 10C winner being Jack, closely followed by Tia, Alex and Maisie. Meanwhile in 10D, Charlie’s work was voted the winner, with Isla and Izzie runners-up.

After Easter, they will be working on presenting cakes and biscuits, in final preparation for their Mock NEA 2.
