Great start Year 7

We hope you have all enjoyed you first few days back. Well done to Year 7 for settling in so quickly and thank you for all the messages that have been coming in.

Dear Mrs Erroi,
I want to thank you and your team and everyone at Southam College who have made our daughters first few days in her own words ‘fantastic’. I could never have imagined her settling in so quickly and so well. I am beyond happy with everything so far, so thank you so much!

Year 7 Rugby Squad -Two Training Sessions

Year 7 Rugby training will regularly be on Wednesdays after school from 3.30 to 5.00pm. Students should meet in the Sports Hall at the end of school with their outdoor PE kit, boots, water bottle and a gum shield.
However, because we have a training match against Coundon Court School on Saturday 19th September we are going to hold two special training sessions, one on Tuesday 15th and another on Wednesday 16th! Both will be 3.30-5.00pm.
Students living in Southam can walk home on Tuesday, but students from further away will need collecting. On Wednesday a late bus can be caught from the front of school (please see Parent Guide for more details).
In true Rugby spirit, the club is for everyone of any ability. So it does not matter if you have not played before. Please organise a gum shield. We do have some on sale in the PE Department for £3, but do not buy on Tuesday as they will need to be moulded in hot water under parent supervision.
House Achievement Points will be awarded to all those at training on Tuesday and Wednesday!

Mr Eadon (Deputy Head & Y7 Rugby Coach).
